We are quite simply two foodie-friends who want to help raise the bar of the dining scene in this great city of Nairobi by finding the industry treasures in terms of food, drinks and of course....SERVICE! Over the years, between the two of us, we have developed palates that crave natural, creative and tasty foods (watching probably more of Top Chef and Hells Kitchen than is humanly possible)! While one of us (not I, but my partner in crime!), brings the skills of a true connoisseur of wine to match and compliment it all! In the course of this blog we will capture (in photos and words) the different places that we eat and drink around the great city of Nairobi and we will rate everything we experience for the rest of the city's diners to chime in on!
We're classified our critiques around 4 areas (that we think are CORE to the dining experience): Food, Drink, Service and the Repeat Visit Experience! This last one is based on our total frustration with many restaurants that do not maintain their standards over time. The first time you go, you are totally wowed! visit two.... three... you never want to go back! This is a Foodie no-no! And, its just as important if not more than the other ratings combined!
So, that's basically it! Restauranteurs be warned, we are coming to your spots and we are ready to share the experience with the world! You wont know us when you see us, but we will leave our mark after we leave :) We look forward to dining and discussing!
